Sunday snoozing

Sunday is a day for resting, but as the sun has returned briefly the washing machine is not getting a day off. Mum is off to get some things for her lunch and do some jobs, then she will come and tackle a few of those pesky weeds she has been meaning to pull up for weeks.

Welcome to the first day of Autumn. We are going to embrace your arrival, for each day of autumn and winter, brings us closer to summer again.

  1. I keep forgetting that your seasons are opposite from ours. It was 70 here yesterday and they are calling for snow tomorrow!

  2. Our washing machine didn't get a break today, either. We wanted to beat the rain that is forecast again. We think your embracing attitude is a very good one to have:)
    Have a great week!

  4. That is a good attitude to have. The sun is shining so we are going to help mum weed the garden after lunch. The weather forecast is for it to get colder again though, with heavy rain on Tuesday and snow showers the rest of the week.

  6. Autumn? WOW! I had to Google New Zealand to see where you are again. Tommy says you're far away and says we're waiting for Spring to spring here! WOW. You look so pretty in your picture. Tommy hates the washing machine. I like to sit on it.

  7. Brrr. It's been snowing here today. Thankfully, this is not an everyday occurrence here.

70 to snow within a couple of days is a BIG change! Stay warm!
