Washing

I think it is time to bring the washing in mum. We are still enjoying being able to put washing out on the line, but we can feel the autumn evenings closing in, and hate the thought of drying all the clothes inside.

  2. Kate put a big load of washing out on the line this afternoon, then it rained while she was away this evening. Ooh, she was mad!

Nothing smells better than clothes on the line!

  4. How cold does it get there in the winter, Poppy? We confess, we use an electric dryer year-round. We don't have a suitable place to put a washing line.

  7. Oh! They smell so good when Mom brings them inside. I like to crawl on top of the clothes and take a nap.

  8. Miss Poppy, you are such a big help to your Mum! Mom well remembers being a little girl and hanging the wash out to dry, and it did smell wonderful, but she loves tossing them in the dryer more!

We are into spring where we are.....ok, we lied. In the last four days winter has returned and it is COLD! But sunny. Spring where are you?

  15. Poppy, How can your Mum resist a face like that? It's really good that you help your Mum like that. Hopefully, you were able to roll on the clothes and give them some of your furs when she got them inside.

  18. Poppy you look very serious about bringing that washing in! You are lucky you can do that - here everything smells like smog if we try it.
