Mouse House

Yes, in yesterdays post that was another mousie I caught. When I caught it, it wasn't deaded for a while. So while it was still wriggly jiggly, I tried to carry it into my mums room and plonk it on the bed for a present. But she said no - No - NO!!!! And I had to carry it back outside til it was deaded.

We live in an old wood house, and with the changing of the season approaching the mousie families are moving about and stocking up for winter.

Mum is off to do some chores and stock up for Easter too, some nice buns for breakfast, some dvds and some new music to dance to.

  1. Well, it's the thought that counts, isn't it Poppy? It was nice of you to think of goving that not-quite-deaded mousie to your mum.

BTW, that's a lovely picture of you relaxing on the comforter! :)

  24. That was so thoughtful of you to bring your Mum a present. I, myself, prefer them deaded too (or alive in a field 100 feet away). I hope you find nip and treats in your basket come Sunday. Dance one for Cat of Nine Tales! We like the oldies :).

  29. Yes very clever!
I brought inside Laura - a beautiful Burmese as I was sure I saw a rat under book case. Laura is a breeding queen & unfortunately was on call. Had no interest in anything but flopping on floor purring & wishing to visit the looove shack.
I will tell Laura about you!

ps it was a rat - YUCKY and it had a lucky escape out kitchen door. But if it ever comes again blue bate is under book shelf. Autumn is here - not that we have ever had a rat before.
