V-E-T

Our nicest vet, Dr Natalie looked after me when I went to the V-E-T on Tuesday. She said I was a bit F-A-T, and have to have these biscuits with the lovely name (see yesterdays post). I have 6 months to lose 10% of my weight, before I has to go back for my biggest loser weigh in.
The good news is that I am allowed to carry on eating Fancy Feast (as it is 80% water), but I have to have my new biscuits, on Tuesday night I ate the biscuits and liked them.
Wednesday and Today - I don't like them so much.
At the end of the visit, mum laughed coz I runned into my cat carrier, ready for the ride home.
So mum says she is going to join me, and she is going to lose 10% by the end of April too!!

  20. 'Obesity Management' does not sound like a very delicious food, Poppy. And besides, you are quite lovely just as you are.

Dr. Tad tells alla us (except for Gracie) that we are a bit fluffy, but that's because Gandalf's Rx foods put weight on. So basically... it's Dr. Tad's fault. Just saying.

  21. Our vet suggested slowly weaning us off of our own food and onto the diet food by mixing them. We couldn't handle the switch from all regular to all diet food. We adjusted the mix for several weeks. We finally learned to semi like the diet food. Mum thinks it is every cat's right to be able to enjoy his meal.
