PoppyQ Seal of Approval

Mum felt in need of a treat yesterday.  She had been in the shops on Friday with a bestie and saw this quilt.  It was down to half price, and so mum decided that cheering up our bed for a touch of spring was in order.  It has got the Poppy Q seal of approval, this was only five minutes after mum put it on the bed!!!

Mum did enjoy curling up in bed with me last night with the new bedding.  Even more because she had a touch of the food poisoning - which was entirely her own fault.  She made some home made oven fries and opened some yoghurt dressing.  She knew that the date was for a week or two so ago, but it still smelled alright.  It was not ok - and mums tummy was upset last night, but she feels better today.  And for a bonus, she cleared out the fridge today.

  2. That quilt looks very comfy! My human tosses everything that is past its expiration date - she realizes that as a human, her olfactory senses are pretty lousy (unlike us kitties and our EXCELLENT sense of smell) and cannot always detect when food goes bad.

  3. The new quilt also has my seal of approval, Miss Pops and Julie! So now you can rest easy. :D

Ack! on the tummy troubles, Julie. I toss anything out of date. I hate the sicks. srsly.

Glad you're feeling better. Have a lovely day, ladies!

  4. That's a pretty quilt, Poppy! We can see why it quickly got your paw of approval.

Your mum ate yogurt that had passed its date by a week or two? Eeek. She was either brave or foolish! Our human won't touch most products *on* the best-by date. LOL.

  5. That pretty new quilt was the first thing we noticed. (besides you) We hope you gave it your special Poppy smell and furs. That's what makes it really special.

  8. Beautiful new quilt, Poppy. We LOVE your house and the way your mum has it decorated.
Our mum is very strict about freshness dating. She had food poisoning very badly once and never wants to experience that ever again. Lots and lots of fluids for your mum, Poppy, but she knows that.

  10. Lovely quilt!

Glad to hear the tummy trouble didn't last too long. I have a bad habit of doing the same thing...it's only a week past due, right?
