Cold and Chilly

Mum has been seeing lots of this lately, my snuggled up keeping warm pose.  Tis a bit cold and chilly here at Chez Q.  The wind is blowing up from the south (Antarctica) and we is feeling it.  The mumster has her scarf and gloves on under her jacket to and from work.  We spent the night snuggled up together, and I had to wake mum up and tell her when I got in from my toilet breaks outside.  I like to let her know if it has been raining outside - just in case she didn't know.

Mum says she does like heading to bed early to read her book snuggled up with me, that's the good thing about winter, especially now she has warm fleecy sheets.

  4. You do look cosy, Poppy. Our human likes snuggling under the flannel sheets and blankets and reading, too, in the winter time. :-)

  5. It's chilly here, too, but that's because we're having a spring rain day. We're glad you and your mum have a warm, dry, cosy home, Poppy Q.

  6. Antarctica... brrrr. No, thank you! As much as I complain about our humidity during our endless summers, I much prefer it to freezy cold! Which, of course, is why I don't live in New England any more.

I bought my parents some fabulous fleece sheets last winter. They freeze and I'm hot. I figure they can be toasty warm under the sheets and we don't need as much heat. Win-win!

    Have a lovely day, ladies!

  9. Brrr, wasn't that wind horridibly cold yesterday. I had to go to your Mum's work when I would much rather have stayed in bed snuggled up to Zebby Cat. Thankfully the Hospital was cosily warm so I only got frozened on the journey there and back again.

Keep warm and happily snuggled down, Michelle (Zebby is once more in bed)
