Caturday Night Shift is Over

Mums night shifts are over.  Last night was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night/Saturday morning.  In fact for a 3 hour period there was only 1 patient in the emergency dept.  Mum is grateful for the kind person who works at a local takeaway joint, who rather than throw out a lot of pies, bought them into work and mum enjoyed a tasty mid morning feast.  In NZ, when we think of pies we think of savoury pies, mince, mince and cheese, steak or chicken.  We know that for many of you pie means a fruit pie.

So the garden guy came round to the house in the morning, mum took a little nap on the couch, but she had friends coming for lunch and her best friend helped mum do some chores around chez Q.  Then mum went off and met another friend for a cheap dinner and a chat.  Mum needed that.

So it is 10:30pm and it has been 31 hours since mum had a sleep, so she is hoping she has reset her body clock back to normal.  I am already on her bed showing her how to do it.  We wish you all sweet Caturday dreams.

  1. I bet you can teach your human some things about body clocks, Poppy! I hope she gets herself back on schedule.

P.S. My human LOVES savory-type pies, and thinks there are not enough of them here in the States.
