Cat Door Success

Today was mums day off from work after working the weekend.  After me leaving a rather large deposit in the litterbox mum demonstrated how the catdoor worked, by holding one side of it open.  I then went in and out to show her I knew what to do.  She went out for a walk for an hour or two, and when she came home I was inside having a snooze, so she thinks the cat door is a success.

Mum went for a walk to try and find some new pants.  Since moving mum has lost some weight and her trousers were a bit loose and dropping off like a teenage skateboarder.  Mum tried on a couple of denim leggings they were called, and she found them not to bad.  So she will have a little think, and see how much money is left after she has paid the bills on payday this week.

  3. I don't think I'd be too interested in a cat door right now with the weather the way it is here - yick!

  4. Sounds like you've got the cat door covered! And if your human is looking for smaller pants, I bet she is in a good mood!

  5. my mommy buys everything at the second hand thrift store...do you have any of those? Sometimes the coolest stuff is there...and only one of a kind!
Glad that you are using your kitty door...that will help lots with the litter girls room PU problems...mommy changed out the litter today...bout time too! She does not have a smeller that works anymore so sometimes it gets kind of ripe. She cleans the box several times a day...clean freak, so is:)
Stay safe and happy on your walkabouts....

  6. I can not imagine how many times a day the Gs go in and out of the cat door to the patio. Unfortunately, Gandalf and Grayson have to ask to go outside because I can't risk Gracie and her special leg being outside. Adjustments... they made some.

Glad things are sorting out for you both! And yay for losing weight and pants that are too baggy!!

  7. Good job on the cat door, Poppy. Of course you're so clever that it wouldn't take you long to figure it out at your new home.

Congrats to your mum for losing weight (if she wanted to) -- though we hope it's not stress-related (i.e. that she's not able to eat properly).

  8. Things are coming together in the new place, eh, Poppy? I worry about you; stick close to home, please, at least until you get used to the new place.

  9. What a good girl! You'll have more freedom now and will be able to do all of the things a kitty needs to do to feel at home.
Hurrah for your mum's smaller size. Sometimes you don't even try and the unwanted pounds vanish. It's a great jump start.

  10. The high stress diet works a treat doesn't it? - it has for me too. Perhaps we could market the idea and make our fortunes?? XO
