TGIF

TGIF said mum as she walked through the door.  Even though she has to work tomorrow and Sunday, so for her it is really Wednesday night, sort of.  Actually she just describes it as day five of seven.  Spring has teased us all week, and it was a bit chillier and wet then we have been used to.  Don't put the jacket and slippers away just yet.

Mum started work early, which allowed her to leave at 3:30pm, in time to visit the post office and library.  Woohoo Friday night fun for a middle aged lady!!!  Home by 4pm - curtains pulled, heater on and track pants and slippers on.  The weekly washing machine frenzy will be waiting til Sunday night instead of tonight.
I can't talk - my feast was wolfed down by 4:30pm and by 5pm I was back on mums bed.  Yippeee!!!!

Enjoy your Friday night!!

  3. Poppy, dear, a visit to the post office and the library, then home to supper, comfy clothes, and a snuggle with a kitty does indeed appeal to middle-aged working ladies as a lovely Friday evening!
