Slow Sunday

Normally the mumster would drag herself out of bed on a Sunday and go for an enforced fresh air walk to get some exercise, and to go on a parsnip hunt at the market, but today she was laaaaazy, and stayed home and watched some shows, did some reading and perused the interwebs.
She found these most excellent cat designs at Catastrophic Creations who sell on their ETSY shop. They sure are fabulous, and apparently weight tested for girls of my build.   If we had our own place mum would definitely consider something like this for me.

Our friend Janet asked us where to find the Vikings.  Janet - we got a free trial of Lightbox for a year with our Spark account.  We have only watched one other show on the lightbox, and don't think we will bother with it next year. Like NZ Netflix we only have a few old shows on there and for the price I don't think it is worth it.  I have seen a lot of the shows they offer.  Like somebody wrote in the NZ Herald, it is like both companies had a bun fight in the video store over the boxed set and divvied it up between them.  Neither offer any recent movies, and most shows are 2-3 years old now.  We will watch this show, and then Outlander but nothing else seems that interesting.

As you can see I helped mum with the bed making last night.  It is my job to help stretch out the sheets and iron out the creases with my head.
You can see it makes me happy - I loves it!!!

  1. Poppy, dear, those are fascinating catatrosphic constructions indeed! And obviously field-tested for cats of traditional build -- who also obviously are the field-testers for new flavors of Feast. But I think our budget runs to free boxes...

Brava! for your efforts as a portable mangle!

  4. I've seen so many awesome designs for cats...some of them have awesome prices, too!

My television bit the dust and I never replaced it. I occasionally purchase bargain bin DVDs to watch on my laptop. I then pass along to family. I didn't even purchase streaming media accounts. I saved $90 a month when I got rid of cable television.

  5. It is nice to have a lazy day together. Our TV is long gone - broken. But it would be nice to watch some DVD shows again. From Jessica

  6. Such cute photos.
Thanks for the info Julie. I had been looking forward to seeing the Vikings (dashing men, feisty women, COSTUMES). I guess I will have to wait for the reruns...

  9. Happy snoozing! Even with our own house, mum says everything can't be cat related. I don't know why not, but she is bigger than me and pays the bills.
