Mumsday Monday

Mum was very grateful that today was her day off and she got to have a Mumsday and relax and not think about work, but just take it easy.  Her brain woke her up early, but she stayed snuggled under the covers for a while as it was chilly out, but the sun was shining.  So she got up and did a couple of chores before heading out.

She took herself off for a walk, then went to the library, cos she loves books and with the ten at home worried she did not have enough.  She had been thinking about the awesome lunch she had at the Lido Cafe across the road from the library for the past month, so went and ordered the same thing and it was just as delicious.  She then went for more of a walk before heading home.  It was nice to get out of the house and just wander round and people watch.

Me I stayed snuggled on her/our bed.  Sunggled on her leather bag - which I am allowed as long as there is no scratching.  As if I would!!

  2. At last, a day off, eh, Poppy? I'm glad your mum stayed in bed a bit longer. That's always a good thing to do on a day off.

  3. If my human had a real leather bag (I think hers is not exactly authentic), I'd probably lick it rather than scratch it.

  6. Mum came home with another stack of books from the library tonight too. But there is no cafe there to stroll to. Places to eat, but not really nice stuff.
