Settling

Mum thinks that I am beginning settle into our new house.  There are more people living upstairs at this house, but they seem quiet and have early nights.  There are flats next door and at the back if us but everyone seems quiet there too.  Mum has been on a couple of shifts, but I have waited for her to come home and give me my feast.  I have returned to wanting my morning cuddle too and mum let me have her towel to lie on.

Mum worked til 8pm tonight, then went to the supermarket and got some supplies.  She then walked up hill home, which although it is a bit of a hike uphill she survived and didn't  need a lie down when she got home.  So she was quite proud of herself.

  2. You both seem to be settling in fine, which is great, and it's a bonus (maybe?) that the walk home is uphill. LOL. We suppose it depends on the steepness of the slope! :-D

Paws crossed that all your neighbours continue to be quiet.

  3. Poppy, dear, it's good that you're both feeling comfortable in your new home. Does mum have a nana-cart for hauling home the Feast? Not wishing to appear too nana-ish, a friend of mine adopted a backpack for her hunting and gathering expeditions and finds it much easier on her back.

  4. I'm glad to read that you are settling in, Poppy. As long as you know your mum is there, and there are plenty of familiar smells from the furniture, you'll feel all right. And soon your mum won't notice the climb up the hill.
