Sleepy Sunday

Mum and I got a nice sleep in today and after a cool autumn data on Caturday, the sun was shining.   Mum gave me a few snuggles and then she went and took herself out for a walk into town

She had misplaced one if her favorite necklaces, and found another one in the shop.  And best of all it was reduced from a whopping  $19 to $12  - bargain.

So the usual places were visited, the library to return some books and the supermarket to replenish supplies. Then a quick bus ride home to cook dinner.  I had a feast and then mum cooked up some parmesan fries, sausages with broccoli and carrots.  She was also organized and boiled some eggs for her lunch tomorrow.

Time to put our feet and paws up.

  1. Sounds as though you had a lovely day Poppy!x
I'm planning on the same myself....Just gone
seven over here, l'm gonna pop back to bed with
my lemon tea for half an hour, watch the news,
then up to face the world...! :).

  2. Poppy, dear, this sounds like a perfect day for homely chores and simple pleasures -- snuggling the cat, scoring a bargain bauble! and preparing a real meal.

  3. What a way to spend a lovely autumn day!

  4. That looks like a nice sunny spot for a nap Poppy. We are hoping to get out to our sunny room again today too.

    Have a great week!

  5. It sounds like you both had a lovely Sunday, some well-deserved rest and relaxation. We wish you both a wonderful week!

  6. Time to catch up with the chores on the weekend. Mum doesn't have to do that now being retired. Our library isn't open on Sunday, but the drive through return box is!

  7. Sounds like you both had a nice day, and your mum getting a bargain made it even better.
