Some mornings
Some mornings I sit at this window and watch my mum leave for work. It is by our front door and if she leans over and taps on the window I meow at her and tell her to go and earn lots of dollars.
Then I runs over to this window and watches her walk across the street.
Mum thinks it is funny when I sit here and watch her go.
Do you say goodbye to your beans?

Yep - I watch her leave and once she is gone I take my early-morning nap. Plus I watch her come home, because that means I'll get dinner!
ReplyDeleteIt must be very hard for your mom to walk away from you!
ReplyDeleteYou're asking the wrong ones if we say good-bye. Buddy cries, howls and tries to tear the door open. He can't bear for Jan to even take out the trash. Jan says very often the last and the first thing she will see of us will be Buddy or Sam standing up at the window looking forlorn.
ReplyDeleteOllie says goodbye to us and she will wait for us to return. Sunny will wait for us to come home, too. Rascal doesn't care :-p
ReplyDeleteWe watch our Beans when they go, but we look all sad and say 'Please don't go'. we are glad when they come home again.
ReplyDeleteI don't say goodbye, but I do greet her when she comes home. Most because I'm hungry.
ReplyDeleteDearest Poppy Q,
ReplyDeleteOh yes...when mommy leaves in the mornin', there's a kitty in every window of our house watchin' her pull outta the driveway. Then when she comes home, there's a whole set of different kitties in the window waitin' on her. It always makes her smile to see that.
Very truly yours,
The Whiskers and Purrs Gang
I don't say godbye neither, I just greet them when they are back with food hihihihi
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute!
ReplyDeleteHere some of the kitties say goodbye - though most just keep on doing whatever they do - and some say hallo upon my return. Although, loaf doggie is the one who is always most sad when I leave and the happiest when I return.
I always watch Mommy leave for work from my big window - she always waves at me too!
ReplyDeleteI wait for her to come home in the same window!
Yes, I often get in the window when mine are leaving. Mom always waves to me.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet it makes your mom sad to have to leave you. Even temporarily.
We go back to sleep by the time our mum goes to work. We are all snoring our heads off!
