Happy New Year Everybuddy!! It is already New Years Eve here in Wellington, and our little street is quiet, as all the young ones have gone away. Just us oldies left for our quiet nights in!! After our 3 hours of sunshines yesterday the grey skies have returned!! We have dvds and books though and lots of fancy feast for me!
Thanks for sharing in our adventures in 2009, and we look forward to spending 2010 with you all. Wishing you all good health, warm tummies and beds.
Yes - the underpants/knickers were clean No - I didn't steal them Yes - they fell out of the washing basket on the way to the washing line Yes - thunderpants are the worlds best underwear Yes - thunderpants are made in New Zealand No - I did not transport back to 1972 for this picture. We used Picnik to give it a 60s tint and turn it into a polaroid. Yes - the sun is finally shining after eleventy million days of cloud, so mum is off to enjoy the day
In my stocking I got my mousie, a new collar, some greenies and kiwicats catnip which is grown here in Wellington and is great!! In fact I played so hard with my new presents that today has been very quiet, and me and mum have had a real easy day.
This was my Christmas Stocking sitting up on the mantlepiece. Mum has losted my real stocking, which means when she cleans up she will find it in the New Year. Anways she let me borrow hers, and santa camed and filled it on Christmas night.
Please check out my moovie, and you can see me find out what Santy Claws bought me.
Mum and I have been very slack this year, and we apologise for the lack of christmas cards. We wish you all a fabulous holiday season, with your furriends and family. We hope you all get lots of treats, snuggles and oodles of napping.
This is our front doorstep, and it has the same mat as the backdoor.
You may have missed us posting last night, that was because mum popped on the bed to read her book at 8,30pm, and nodded off to sleep and woke up at 4am. The backdoor was wide open, the candles were burning and the leftovers were still sitting on the bench!!
We hope your moms and dads are getting some rest, ready for the holidays.
While I snoozed quietly at home, my mum was betraying me by scratching and playing with another kitty. She went out to a friends christmas dinner, and because it was late, stayed the night. Her friends cat Miss Mollie, is very shy and hid under mums bed while she was reading. As soon as the light switched off, she climbed out and jumped on the bed, and went to sleep by my mums feet. Hey, thats where I sleep!!
Mum then went to the pet store and made googley eyes at puppies. No, we aren't getting one, it is just that mum loves little puppies (someithing about her ovaries needing something little to love). She has me, that's enough.
She didn't get home til midday. So I demanded fancy feast and greenies. Then she went out again.
But, she has had to take a day off work next week, as we are truly down to our last 3 crunchies and few cans of the feast. She better buy loads, to make up for not coming home last nite.
