Still Polar Chilly

Still chilly, so I have asumed the number one bed position. Just where my mum likes to lie down. We did see a slash of sunshines this afternoon, but the wind had a polar bite to it - Brrrrr!!

It is meant to be spring here, but October is often rainy and windy. We have been spoilt, as September brought us lots of sunny and warm days, which we would like back. Summer doesn't really arrive until December, and can often last til March. Wellington, where we live can be unpredictable though.

We wanted to let our kiwi friends know that if you go to Farmers (a nationwide department store), you can make a donation to aid Samoa, and Farmers will match dollar for dollar (up to fifty dollars). We think it is a great thing they are doing, and while you are there you can buy something for yourselves. Unfortunately, they don't sell anything for cats and woofies there. We think they would make lots of monies if they did.

  1. The weather has been quite funny. We thought we were into spring with lots of nice warm days, but the last few days have been very rainy and stormy. We even had two hail storms! Wrap up tight and keep warm, Poppy.

  4. They should definitely sell stuff for cats. That's just wrong that they don't. But they are still doing a good thing. It is very cold here too Poppy.

  7. At least you have a nice, toasty, warm bed to lay in Poppy!!! It's just starting to get nippy here, Autumn has arrived. The leaves are changing really fast and out lawn is, once again, covered! We like when mom brings leaves in for us to smell.

  8. We don't like the cooler seasons either, but we all like to snuggle up on the bed blankets. Keep warm my friend.

  11. We went straight from summer into late fall - it has snowed twice, and is WAY below freezing at night. Luckily for Mom, I like to snuggle up to her and keep her warm at night! I think it is really nice of you to keep your Mom's spot in bed warm!

  13. I hope your weather gets better there - ours isn't going to for a while because for us it is almost winter. That looks like a great place to keep warm though!

  15. Hmmm, sounds like spring in Maine...also known as Mud Season.

Gotta snuggle down to avoid the worst of it.

  16. We're cold here, too. We had a hard frost already that killed Mom's tomato plant and all the flowers. Winter is coming for us!!

  19. What a darling girl you are to keep your mum's side of the bed warm.
If Farmers sold sunbeams, we would go there right now and buy you some. Love you!
