Just rolling Around

This is how I spend my afternoons.  Just rolling around on my mums bed, on top of her shopping bag, on top of our quilt.

Mum has had early starts this week.  7.30am, 8am and tomorrow 7am, that's when she has to be at work and starting.  She has to get up much - much earlier.  So early - that I'm not even awake yet.

Close your ears - mum is watching a program about D.O.G.S on tele.  She had some Thai Green Curry and rice for dinner, and some grapes for supper.  Me I had the feast and my tummy is full of its' goodness.  Life is good.

  1. I'm not much for Thai anything. Too spicy. My taste buds are more of the savory or sweet variety. :)

Please, what is the difference between supper and dinner? Here, the two words are interchangeable and mean the last meal of the day.

Have a lovely day, lovely ladies!

  2. Ahh, so many comfy places to rest. My dad's an early riser, too, and I'm usually right there with him.

  3. Our mum loves Thai green curry. There is a Thai restaurant in one of the pubs in the village and they do a take out as well.

  4. Poppy, red certainly is your colour.

We hope your mum's week goes well. Our human says she's getting too old to be up at 4AM every day, but really, we DO insist upon it! :-p

  7. Poppy, Mom was raised in the country and dinner was at noon and supper was an hour before sunset. That time changed with the seasons, but the farmers could not work after dark!

  11. Our mom loves spicy food and so does our kitty Julie. If the mom can feel the heat a half hour after she's done eating, she is happy. Poppy Q, we also saw you have a masterful stink eye! Bravo!

Thank you so much for your compassionate words of condolence on the loss of my mother. Its very difficult, but the kindness of so many people makes it easier to bear. Thank you so much and God bless you.
