Countdown - 8 days to go

We are on the countdown til Christmas, and mum gets some time off with me.  Today she did lots of tugging and pulling in the garden and filled up the wheelie bin, ready for some more weeds tomorrow.  It was nice to be out in the sun and breezes, and mum opened up every door and window to let the fresh air flow.

She finished off  a couple of DVDs.  What to Expect When Your Expecting - a bit of cheesy celebrity spotting flick about a group of couples, all expecting bubs at the same time.  2/5  Then mum  finished of watching the last series of Spooks - Series 10.  She wanted Harry and Ruth to end up happy together, but sadly it was not to be.  It did feel like it was just a lot of running around to get to the end game, and mum thinks that they shoud have finished the series a few years earlier.  Still she has to give it a 3/5.

Mum is going to try and keep her zen face on all week, especially when she has to venture to the supermarket.  People go crazy over the holidays, even though the shops will only close for one day.

  1. I forget sometimes that it's already tomorrow where you live! The hustle bustle is one thing about Christmas I do not enjoy.

And I know exactly how that first day feels when you open up the entire house again! Lovely!!

    Enjoy your day, ladies!

  2. We will tell the Momma to put on a Zen face, she does that sometimes when she does her metitashuns, but she hasn't done that much lately (she needs too!)
the Momma and the Daddy watched all of "Spooks" (over here they called it MI-5) the Daddy was loved Roz, and the Momma was mad when Tom went away, but it was a good run. Stay cheery!

  6. This is my human's least favorite week of the year - she tries to hibernate until Christmas is over.

  10. Mum tries to shop at odd hours to avoid the crazy people at the food stores at this time of year. Any other store too.

  12. Our Mom does not enjoy all the rush and crowds, either. Keeping a zen face is a good way to face them!
