Mum had a busy day at the office. She is on day six of eight, the downward slope and is hanging out til she gets Sunday and Monday off. What made mum happy today? Well she was pleased that with January at an end, she has taken her lunch every day of the month and not bought the pricey food. Only eleven months to go!!

Poppy, I will tell you a secret: even though my human works at home, sometime she goes off and buys the pricey food instead of getting lunch in the kitchen! Is she nuts, or what?
My mom takes food for her lunch too cause she is lazy to go out and she can help me do blogging while she is eating ; )

I sometimes buy the pricey stuff, too, but I buy it from a bakery which makes its own bread and I always get their tasty sandwiches. It's always better when someone else prepares it for you but, alas, I can't afford it all the time. All my money seems to go to cats...

When mum was day hunting she too took her own lunch. Didn't want to got out and get pricey foods.

My mum wishes she had your mum's self discipline . We had a big vet bill in January too and face February in deficit. Mum will try eating at home all month which seems a bit grim, but we kitties are#1.
Won't it be wonderful when you have your mum home again?
