Watch Out - Staff About !!!

Watch out - Staff About!!!  The Mumster is home at a normalish time today, ready for the feast.  Mums intention in the early evening was to head off to the supermarket to stock up on some noms, but when she went to the door, there was some rain and cool windy southern winds.  So turnabout and mum is cooking from the stuff in the fridge.  So sausages and a carrot/parsnip/swede mash for her, and a feast for me (this post is not sponsored by Fancy Feast - but maybe it should be).

  3. Bugger to bad weather, but there is something comforting about cooking a meal in a storm. Unless you lose power, then not so much. =)

    Have a purrfect day, ladies!

  7. I've been wondering, Poppy Q, what sort of flavours you ike your fancy Feast to be. I feed my cats the pate varieties. I find that if anything is chunky, or with gravy' they just lick the taste off everything and leave the chunks. Do they have different labours in New Zealand than Canada, I wonder.

    1. Anything sliced, minced or marinated we'll lick the gravy and leave the solids. Mum gets us the grilled variety as the pieces are shredded and easier to eat for us so we eat both fiod and gravy. We like the Gravy Lovers variety too but the food is rather inconsistent in size , sometimes small sometimes larger, leading us to sometimes lick off the gravy.

  8. We're Fancy Feast-ers too! Never not the right time to tuck into a delicious can.....or two. Especially on a rainy evening. Glad you got to spend some extra time with your mum.
