Rainy Days

You wouldn't think it was mid summer here in kiwiland.  We got us a nice and sunny day at Christmas, but since we have had buckets of rain.  Luckily mum has a couple of good umbrellas and a pile of books.  She feels a bit of a blob today cos she slept in, read her book, watched a couple of movies ( My House in Umbria and  You've Got Mail).  The pile of dishes has been attacked, and mum is feeling that she has finally beginning to catch up on her sleep.

It is nice to be lazy on these holiday days, and I am happy to join her.

    After your mum's grueling call schedule, it's a wonder she had enough energy left to hold her eyes open for the trip home. No crime in rest, relaxation and lazy days. Your mum should watch us cats; we lead by example.

    You need lazy days every now and then to recharge yourself! Good for your Mum to take advantage of them. And good for you, lazing with her! *giggle*

    I'm with you poppy. I'm on a go slow today. I only have a couple of loads of washing really that must get done. We have had nice weather for a change here, have a happy new year. Xx

    My Mum is home a lot more at the moment too. We are having very dry weather and it will be very hot tomorrow.

    Happy yur Mum gots some sleep and dat means yoo gets extra sleep too! We's gettin' some rains today too. It's God's way of saying get some rest! Woo Hoo!
