6pm Visitor

Every night just after 6pm this same little bird pops onto our fence on his way home to his nest.  It makes mum smile to see him there, and sometimes I race outside to see if he would fall off and I could eat him.

Bless! Well you never know! That's the trouble with birdies, if they never had wings, they'd be easier to catch! :).

  4. Poppy, dear, he looks rather crunchy. Those wing feathers might be more roughage than your tummy could manage easily. But a nice racing run outside is very good for the figure!

  5. Poppy, birds are usually not that clumsy, so you are probably out of luck!

  8. I don't know about the eating part Poppy. If you don't like chick-hen or other people food & only like your Feast, then you might not like the taste of the burdy. Burds you catch don't even get cooked in the hot box - they are raw. ugghhh! I do like that you chase the burd, now & then, because it reminds the burd to never let a cat get too close or they could become lunch.
