Sleeps

So the mumster did her first of four night shifts last night/this morning.  She was quite busy, but in the morning was able to be glued to the television to watch the end of that dreadful day in Sydney.  The world is a crazy place sometimes, and mum and I would wish that more people would just learn to get along.  To relax - be like a cat!

So mum stopped off at the supermarket on the way home which was good as she ran into a friend who she might not have seen otherwise and they had  a quick chat.  Then off home for  a wee breakfast before hitting the bed.  She slept from about 8.30am - 1pm when the courier man dropped off a parcel, and that and a text message woke mum up.  So she showered and went out for a walk, as it was another glorious day.

Then home for a bit of pottering around and now her eyelids are heavy, but she has drag herself  back to work for another night.

Me - well I am just chilling.  I didn't join mum for a sleep - instead I was outside all day as it was lovely and sunny and warm, but rain is forecast for the rest of the week, so mum might have to expect some company on the bed (me that is).

Sweet dreams everybuddy!

  3. Poppy, dear, it's good that you and the mumster got some fresh air today! Sadly, there are indeed many poisons in our mental and physical environment that are difficult to avoid entirely: fresh air and a nice nap are excellent antidotes against them.

  4. We hope your mum makes it through her shifts okay.

Yes, our human was watching the coverage of the Sydney events, feeling sick to her stomach over it all. We're sending our purrs and purrayers to all those (so many) who have been impacted by this.

    Peace.
