So after doing close to nothing yesterday, mum thought she better get her backside into gear today. She woke us up early, and got up and had a shower and some breakfast. She got the washing on, an even got it out on the line as it was early enough. She grabbed her shopping bag and went out for a walk. Walking into town is a half hour stroll, and mum headed off to a couple of markets.
She has had a bit of a week of eating poorly, too many carbs and has been feeling a bit sluggish, so it was time to stock up with onions, carrots,turnips, parsnip, coriander, tomatoes, cabbage, peppers, courgettes, grapes, lettuce and tomatoes. She got some beef for tonight, and made a Thai Beef Salad for her dinner which made her feel better. Leftover salad for lunch tomorrow and there are plenty of veg for the week ahead.
Me - I am not so fussy. I don' need the veg just give me the feast.
