Nest Mess

Mum couldn't find  when she was making the bed, and thought I might be hiding as it was soo cold.  It was just that I had found the pile of bedding on the floor and was all snuggled up in the middle.  Mum will be glad when the weather warms up a bit more, so that we can get some colorful bedding back on the bed.

A quiet evening for us ladies.  Mum watched kiwi masterchef, she made herself a stirfry for dinner with bacon, veg and noodles.  Mmmmm tasty. Then she had some kiwifruit, cos they are pretty cheap at the  moment, and  she loves them.   I had a dine for dinner and I was happy.  The blankies are back on the bed and we are ready to go.

  4. It's going to be 34° Celsius (about 92° Fahrenheit) here all week, and since I am a cool weather person, I rather envy you your chilly days, Poppy.

I remember the first time I ate kiwi-fruit, back in the late 1970s. A friend described its taste as a cross between strawberry and watermelon. That's close but the taste really is all its own. I like the fruit, too, but I eat it so quickly that it isn't exactly cost-efficient for me. Do you have parts of New Zealand where they grow wild or so plentifully that you can pick them right from nature? I pick apples that I find growing on trees hanging over back alleys here.

  5. We are starting to feel fall coming, here in our little section of the northern hemisphere! It was cold enough this morning for my human to put on her long-sleeved hoodie to work in our office, but not quite cold enough for the heater.
