Chill

We haven't had the best summer.  It is 12 degrees here tonight and mum has heaters on.  Normally she would be in shorts with the fan on.  Still we have little to complain about.  The skies had pretty ombre colors tonight.

I had a feast for dinner tonight.  Mum made herself a big pasta dish to eat with enough for the next couple of evenings at work.  She is going to heat up her first Hot Cross Buns of the year for her supper.  The minute Christmas is over the supermarkets rush to get the buns out.

keep me busy till lunch time..!

Oh! I saw planes flying over parts of Australia,
on the TV..dropping sack loads of carrots, for
the kangaroo to feed on..Bless! :).

  2. That's pretty cool for summer evening weather for sure. Hopefully you'll get better temps soon.

I haven't seen Hot Cross buns yet, but then they wouldn't be on my radar. (Well, they will be now. LOL.)

  3. Hot cross buns for mum and feast for Poppy, right? That
is a beautiful sky for sure. Too bad about a real summer
warmth. We always wait for that no matter what part of the
    world we live in.

  4. It doesn’t sound like it’s very warm a summer so far, Poppy, but I can’t argue with that glowing twilight.
