Mum walked home and decided to tackle the short end of the street. It is very STEEP, the 6th steepest st in our city of hills. In 4 years here she has avoided this end. She walks down it most days, and now she knows she can handle the walk up. When she arrived on the flat part of the street she was greeted by naughty neighbor who seemed very pleased to see my mum.

Poppy, I think the naughty neighbor cat was congratulating your mom on walking up that steep hill. It sounds like a short mountain.
