Change of Sheet season

Hmmm Mum, I fink that it is flannelette sheet season now. The nights are getting a bit cooler, so I will get you to move your knees, so I can snuggle up between them.

PS - we does have fresh sheets on the bed every week. It just means we can put away the cool sumer sheets and have the fluffy winter ones in rotation now. Just in case you thought we was dirty.

  1. Poppy, that right, you're the napping expert in your household, so you let your Mum know when it's time for the heavy duty warm sheets. Make sure that you rest up and conserve your strength, and stay warm, little one.

  8. I didn't think you were dirty at all. How cold is it getting overnight now where you live?

We live in Pennsylvania where it gets very cold in the winter. But we never use flannel sheets as they get too hot for me. Instead we pile up lots of blankets on the bed, and I throw them off of me when I get too warm.

  14. This is the first year Jan has used flannel sheets on our bed. But the only one who gets to benefit is Buddy because he crawls under the blankets. Cheater! Jan says it would help if he would learn to move off the blankets before he starts "digging" at them.

  15. Mommy would love to have flannel sheets on the bed in winter since it gets so cold here. But Daddy would roast. So instead, Mommy sleeps with a hooded sweatshirt over her pj's. Yes, she wears the hood! We think she looks silly.
