When the skies are cloudy and cold, and we know we are lucky as we don't get snow here where we live. This picture is from the end of last week, when there were some lovely red sunsets, that made the houses above us look like they were on fire.
You need your mum to put the new polar fleece mink blankie on the bed, the one that is almost the same colour as you. We know it is mancat Monday, but maybe it should be minkfest Monday instead? Mum says it is the perfect thing to snuggle under and read her book on a chilly night.
Minkfest sounds purrfect for a cold winter's night! That sky is very beautiful! Mom is from New England where it gets cold and snows during the winter. She hasn't lived there since 1975 because of the snow. She doesn't mind the cold so much, but hates driving in the snow.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very pretty picture of the sky!
ReplyDeletePoppy, that looks very cozy - we are tired of these hots and miss snuggles in blankets!
ReplyDeleteLooking very cozy again Poppy Q. Happy Minkfest Monday:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture.

We have a fleecey blanket that we've been snuggling on, while mum snuggles beneath it. It feels nice and toasty. We hope you feel lovely and toasty, too:)
ReplyDeleteSounds very nice and cozy!!! The picture of the sky is pawsome!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a perfect way to spend a cold evening!
ReplyDeleteThat sky has lovely colours. You almost make me want it to be winter again so I can snuggle under a blankie with mum.

Curling up on a cold night...purrfect!
ReplyDeleteWow, a mink blankie! What a luxury for Poppy Q! She looks so cozy snuggled down like that.
ReplyDeletePoppy, How cold does it get there in F degrees?
ReplyDeleteIt's a snuggle sky, Poppy. We can almost feel the chill. Glad you have your minkie.
ReplyDeleteWe have a blanket on the couch that we love to do our toes one ... our humans use it sometimes but it's really ours

ReplyDeleteMinnie totally agrees with you--her fleece blankie is just about her favorite thing in the winter. :)

We love to snuggle, but not in the Summer. It's really hot here right now!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny reading your posts in the opposite seasons. We're sweltering and you're snuggling under a minkfest.
ReplyDeleteAnd in a few months, the seasons will be reversed. Then we'll be wishing we had a minkfest.
Minkfest sounds like fun. It has been cold here, so I think I will talk to mom about it.
ReplyDeleteRoxy

We have a mink blankie that our "Daddy" brought back from Korea. We love that in the winter time, but it's way too hot for it now!
ReplyDeleteWe're glad you have one to keep you warm during your winter.
