My ribbons and me had a fun time making the bed at the weekend. Our weather turned gloomy, reminding us that is really winter and not really spring. It has been nice to turn the heaters off some nights, and to get our washing dry on the line.
I am a bit tired tonight, as we have been having roadworks outside our house for the past week. The council men are digging up our footpaths, and tomorrow they start outside our house. So mum and I are planning an early night, after the dishes are done, watching ER and reading the last chapter of her book.

Sounds like your city is sprucing up for spring's arrival. Too bad they are making so much noise though.
It is still very very hot and humid here in NC. Last night at 10 pm the temps was 73 the humidity was 85% horrible.

Oh, Poppy Q, that first photo is a real "glamour shot!" There is a company here in the U.S. where they take these "glamour shots" as they call them...young women come in and they fix their hair and make up and take these "glamour shots". I never knew anyone who did it, just saw the ads. Anyway, your photos are just beautiful. You should be a model.
