Yesterday, mum was meant to be going out for tea. So she grabbed a takeaway lunch on the run. Big mistake. Within an hour her tummy was gurgling............
Then it was going in and out, and up and down, and making crazy noises.
Then she had to sit on the loo for a long long time. So, no she didn't make it out for dinner. She crawled back into bed with me.
And today, she feels much much better. Mum says she hates the food poisoning, but is glad it only lasted for one day and night, as she was really needed at work today.
I hate having a mucky tummy. Hope your Mummy's starting to feel better.
ReplyDeleteTake good care of your Mum, Poppy. Takeaway food can feel like running a gauntlet sometimes!

My mom HATES IT when her tum "talks" to her--not only does it use bad language, but it is not very polite! I'm glad your mom's is feelin' better!
ReplyDeleteHow lucky it was not more serious. Food poisoning can be really dangerous. Some people in the city I live were poisoned years ago and are still suffering from the effects of it. I hope your Mummy does not buy food from that place again.

It probably only lasted one day because you helped nurse her back to health by being close Poppy Q.
