Why yes, mum believes that is camping cat sleeping on the couch. Of course I had to get my mum to put the clean bathmat down, as I like to sleep on it. We had a big thunder boomy storm this afternoon, and when mum got home I was inside!!! I meowed real loud and told her all about it and she gave me my dinner, and then I hopped on her lap for lots of cuddles.
It has been a chilly evening, and mum has her sheepskin slippers on and the heater got turned on, the first time in about four months. We hope our late summer is not slipping away too soon.
Have a lovely weekend everybuddy, do something fun!!
They say every cloud has a silver lining, and those storm clouds brought you back in for snuggles.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you were safe from the storm Poppy.
ReplyDeleteAre you remembering the home comforts of the indoors, Poppy? It's a shame the storm wasn't a few months later, it could have blown away the Wellywood letters! :P
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful to know you can go inside and enjoy lots of cuddles when it's cold and boomy?!
ReplyDeleteNow we know what it takes for you go inside, Poppy. Heh. We're glad you got lots of cuddles and were inside safe from the storm.
ReplyDeleteIt dragged in a sweet Poppy Q! Now that's a surprisingly good outcome of a storm.
ReplyDeleteWe don't blame you Poppy. We wouldn't like to stay outside with the thunder bommies going on.
ReplyDeletePoppy, you are so smart to run away from that storm.
ReplyDeleteYou were so brave to stay out so long Poppy, before going in! Nice clouds, though. I'm glad you told your mommy how it was with loud meowing.

Poppy I worry about you being a scallywag. Thank you for coming in staying safe from the storm. You were part of our geography lesson. We were making a map and adding Australia. Someone asked if we should put New Zealand on the map as it would be really small. "Of course we need to add New Zealand! Poppy lives there!" My students love you too. Stay warm and give love to your mum.
ReplyDeleteA cat can choose to sleep wherever she wants. It sounds like your Mum missed having you around though.
