Mum Monday

Mum had today off.  It was another cold night and although mum did think of some things to do today when she woke up she decided to change her plans.  She had a little sleep in with me and finished her book.

Washing was done and put out in the sun and the dishes were cleaned.  We had a little nap in the afternoon then mum got up on time for feast time.  She grabbed the camera when she saw the pretty sky outside.

So tomorrow mum will let herself go into town and do some fun things tomorrow.

  1. What a lovely day mum and you had. Hope mum has a really fun day tomorrow while you keep the mice away at home.Sleep tight you

  2. Mum had a lovely laid back day then Poppy!x
And, a lovely photo of the evening sky!
It that the famous ariel that had to be
    straightened...! :).

  3. Poppy, dear, a wise woman knows when to spend a day curled up in one's basket, getting up only to snack and nap -- and perhaps do a lick of laundry.

Once upon a time in a small Southern town, a passer-by noticed an ancient lady enjoying the view from her rocking chair on the cabin porch. "What you doin', Missus?", said he. She replied, "Sometimes I sits and rocks and thinks. Sometimes I sits and rocks. And sometimes, sometimes I just sits."

  4. Sounds like a purrfect day :)
    We love the pretty sky.

  5. The big white cloud looks like a bird of some type flying across the sky.
Sometimes a day of rest helps one to enjoy their other days off more.

  6. Mum always liked hollyday weekends. You could take a lazy day and then do fun stuff on another day.

  8. We had a holiday here in canada, too, because of Victoria Day. Like Ducky says, it's a great day on which to be lazy
