Mum had the bad sleeps last night.  She lay there willing herself to snooze off but it didn't really happen.  She tossed and turned for hours, finally drifting off around 4am, getting only a couple of hours before the alarm went off.

So tonight she has kept herself busy, resisted napping, had a carb fulled dinner of bacon on toast, used left over bacon to make bacon and tomato toasties for her lunch tomorrow, watched some light comedy and avoided the news, watched her face and used some nice moisturizer,  got her book ready, heated up the bed (it's been cold here tonight) and talked to me about not taking an hour for me to get settled.  Fingers crossed she can get a good 6 hours of sleep.

  1. Ah! Bless! Perhaps you should tell Mum
a nice bedtime story Poppy!x To help
    her sleep..! :).
And, yer right..if you watch the news,
see what a mess the world is in..You'll
    never get to sleep..! :o).

  2. Poppy, dear, please help your mum get to sleep by purrrring rather than turning round and round and round... There's a good cat!

  3. Oh, we do hope your mum can sleep! We like the idea of you purring to help her nod off.
