Mum is working this weekend. She says that it is always harder getting up at 5.30am on weekend days, as you know everyone else is tucked up in bed. Don't worry mum - I'll catch some zzz's for you.

It's piddling with rain at the moment Poppy!x

straight back home, that's it till Monday..! :).
It's bucketing down here and looks like it will be mostly wet for the next week.

Good thing you can help mum out by sleeping for her.
ReplyDeleteWe had a bad storm Friday eve and got 1 1/2 inch of
rain in 20 minutes, with tornado warning, but thankfully
no tornado. I know about the 6 minutes of sunshine in
the winter. In Ohio it is dreadful and I do not envy
you right now. At least between the rains, I get summer sun.
Poppy, we hope that the sunshine will come out for you soon. That is just too many days of all those clouds. We hope your mum is getting enough zzzz's at night before going in to work. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful rest of yoru day.

ReplyDeleteSix minutes! That's impressive, though not in a good way. We've been having a lot of rain here, which I don't mind. The dry weather comes soon enough to our part of the world, though the wet is usually in spring, rather than early summer. Weather isn't what it used to be.
