Outside Tips

When I am outside, I likes to climb in the gutter.........

.......... and explore around the parked cars,.............

........I epecially like to sniff their number plates........

.........mmm this one has been somewhere smelly!!

Now my mum does not encourage me to be around cars, as she says thems are very dangerous. But outdoor kitties are not very good at listening. Luckily our street is a quiet cul de sac, and mum tries to keep me inside when the traffic is busy.

Please come back tomorrow and see all the other outside places I gets to visit!! Next week we will explore the garden!!

Puss angel was in the paper!!!

Our angel Puss, was made famous this week. She got into the local/national newspapers pet section under 'Spring Is In the Air'. Mum sent the photo in I think four years ago. What a nice weekend surprise for us. Puss you looked so lovely.

Mum says Puss was a great girl. She loved pats and cuddles and would talk back to mum. She loved to go for a walk on rubbish night around the neighbourhood and every day after work, she would be waiting for mum to get home on the front porch. She would run down the steps and under the gate, and want big scritches and pats.

We love you Puss, and miss you lots.

Bed Making Lesson number two

Bed Making lesson number two:
  • Always tuck the duvet into its cover

Yesterday I showed you what to do with the sheets. You can see I am a big help making the bed. Come back tomorrow and I will show you more helpful hints.

Today me and my mum was real busy. We pulled out weeds, and if you have seen our garden with have a millionbijillion, so it will take us ages to finish the garden. Tomorrow is the first day of spring in New Zealand, so we celebrated by putting the spring duvet and quilts on the bed. The sun was shining and it was warm, so we were happy. Mum went for a walk by the beach to watch the surfers enjoy the afternoon, she says we are so lucky to live beside the seaside (about a 40 minute walk/five minute drive).

Have a nice week, whether it is turning to spring or autumn wherever you live. Happy change of seasons.

Saturday jobs

Today mum met up with her friends and children for a day of adventures. They went to Te Papa - our national museum. After snacking at the lunch bar, they went to see the exhibition of Rita Angus works. She is a New Zealand artist, and this is one of the biggest exhibitions of her work. It was very busy, and luckily free and mum says about 20 of her pictures would have looked nice on our wall.

After all that culture she walked with her friends along the waterfront. They had fancy ice creams, saw a man play the bagpipes, looked at the MG vintage car club and played at the park.

And I stayed at home and helped make the bed.

Have a nice weekend.
