She was pleased
4am - click click click in the bed. yES mum that is a present for you. Do you like how I tucked him in beside you? No need to thank me.
12 midday - little black and white butterfly, I ate him all up, on mums bed of course. Mum couldn't watch - it was like an episode of animal planet. Thats right mum, I am a real carnivore.
Monty Q, you do not need any sauce with these bugs. They are tasty just on their own. I like em au naturale.

ReplyDeleteMy mommie says she is glad that I don't bring in any bugs to bed. She would not like it! I think you're being thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteOur Mommy would be grossed out if we brought her bugs into the bed. But WE think that you were being especially thoughtful, Poppy!

ReplyDeleteIs a bug on the bed called a bedbug? Hahahahahah!
ReplyDeleteps: thanks for telling us about cicadas.
How like you Poppy, to generously share with your Mom. Our Mom would freak out if we brought something alive onto the bed...or even something dead!

You are a great hunter, Poppy Q! It's so nice of you to share with your Mum :-)
ReplyDeleteWas it a bed bug or just a bug in the bed? Ha, ha, ha...I'm so funny.
ReplyDeleteBugs are fun to catch and even nicer to eat. That cicada looks nice and crunchie. The butterflies
ReplyDeletemelt to nothing in your mouth.
I must admit I have a thing for any sort of little moving thing, also!

Oh Poppy Q, you are such a sweetie. I have to admit, I am glad you don't live closer so you could tell Wiggles, my cat, all of your lovely tricks! I would not be as pleased as you Mum for anything live or dead to be on my bed!
ReplyDeleteAs for the cicadas, we had a ton of them last summer. They were nasty. We have an invasion every 17 years here which means if you live near a wooded area, they are everywhere. They scare me so I didn't have a very good summer. My friend has lots of trees around her house and they would be on the porch and everywhere, even on your clothes! We didn't walk at the Arboretum last summer because of all of the live and dead cicadas. You would have enjoyed yourself and had your belly full!
Yes, humans just don't appreciate our generosity!
ReplyDeletejans funny farm
Mmmm...buglets...we bet is was tastey! Was it crunchy???
ReplyDeleteVery truly yours,
