Today
Today was even hotter than yesterday, but not as hot as it has been in most of Australia. In Victoria, at least 84 people have died in terrible fires. We did get a taste of the heatwave over the past two days, but the clouds are back tonight. We hope they get some rain where they need it in the south, and some sun where they need it in the north (there has been flooding in other areas in Oz).
Have a good week everybuddy.

We have seen on the news about the awful fires in Australia, and the floods in other parts. We are sad for the people and the animals who have lost their lives, and for those who have lost their homes.
ReplyDeleteIt's like the weather man is playing a mean joke with the weather. We are on our 23rd day of nearly non-stop rain up here, and we really don't need anymore. Ingham, where mum and dad go for the Italian festival, has rivers running down the main road. When mum went to get Polly yesterday, she had to be really careful, because there are so many roads with huge potholes, or where part of the road has been washed away. And our city is getting off so extremely lucky compared to so many other towns. It's nuts.
ReplyDeleteOh we are sad to hear about those fires and will be purring for those humans and furries involved. We hope you get some rain soon. That is a nice photo of you, Poppy.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very cute picture of you. We're so sorry that so many have lost their lives due to the fire. We hope the weather brings rain and sun where they are needed.
ReplyDeleteThanks for wishing well to all those who need it. I need some sun here, could you send some? Have a great day. =)
