Definitely not fair! When Mr. Bufus was still with us, Fancy Feast time was any time his dish was empty. Of course, he was 20+ years old and diabetic (and TaiChi may have been known to eat his food on occasion), but he had the life! I'd stand by the cupboard and meow pitifully until Fancy Feast Time comes earlier!
Excellent point PoppyQ, that happens here too! Have a great weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you need to lay some rules down for your mum Poppy. Are you loving on the food cupboard door?
ReplyDelete6pm?! That's inhumane! My Fancy Feast cupboard gets opened at 4pm if I pester Mishamummy enough.
ReplyDeleteHehe! That's what I tell my mummy. Every time we say we're hungry, she says, "no, you have to wait. you're on a diet" - not good!
ReplyDeleteYeah--that isn't fair! I hope you get some nibbles.
ReplyDeleteIt's not fair is it? Stand your ground friend. Demand equal rights!

You tell her Poppy! Mom's sometimes thinks they can get away with lots!
ReplyDeleteDear Poppy's Mum:
ReplyDeleteWhat's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander...we demand a treat for Poppy every time the magic ham box is opened!
Sincerely,
The Lounge Kats
Yeahhhhh... it's like just cause they got thumbs they can do whatever they want!
ReplyDeleteThe cupboard should be opened at any time of the day.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice special cupboard for Fancy Feast, Poppy. House Rules are made to be changed!
ReplyDeleteI love stopping by your blog! It always brings a smile to my face. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe're thinking about having our Fancy Feast right now!
ReplyDeleteWe agree, Poppy! The same rules should apply to everyone!
ReplyDeleteWhat? She's making you wait that long? That's awful.
ReplyDeleteBTW, that's a really cute cupboard for your stinky goodness!
When will humans realise we require eleventy meals a day?
ReplyDeleteRules were made to be broken, Poppy. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteAre you trying to figure out how to break into that cupboard Poppy?...Good luck with that sweetie...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki

ReplyDeleteWe cats can't eat as much as the humans do. They can open more cupboards.
ReplyDeleteWe agree Poppy! Every time your mum eats, you should be able to eat. Just 'cause we cats can't open our own cans doesn't mean we don't want food!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very good point. Hoomins can eat whenever they want. Just because they have thumbs. sniff sniff.
