Mum took these pictures in May, and like a lot of my photo shoots she takes a lot of pictures, as sometimes she will only get one or two when I sit still or look at the camera.
She often uses props, like this weeks artists brush to get my attention, as I like to close my eyes or look away from her. So bits of ribbon, brushes, pens, toy mousies and feather sticks can get me watching.
Because it is wintry weather outside, most of our sessions are inside ones lately. Do your photofraphers have any tricks for taking snaps of you?

Guess M isn't as smart as your Mom. She just waits until I'm posed right den snaps the camera. Sometimes she hit's it just right - many times it's a miss. Your mom has gotten really good at it tho.

ReplyDeleteSometimes our human will try and get our attention when she's taking pics inside the house, but we're not that cooperative. Heh.
Your mom did very well with this photo shoot! Our mom just tries to sound like a mouse or throw a foil ball around.
ReplyDeleteThese are sweet potos, Poppy. My Mom either waits till I look at her, or calls my name. I do actually look at her quite a lot, which is helpful.

ReplyDeleteMama calls my name in her treat voice, uses toys, snaps, waves her hands, etc., etc. I do not like having my picture taken, so I'm usually not very cooperative.
We like that first photo. Is that your teddy bear? Very cute!

ReplyDeleteBoth Mommy and Daddy take tons of pictures of us, and Mommy culls down from there. Sometimes one does photos and the other one will frantically try to get our attention...pretty funny when they do that!

mum tries to get candid shots if she can. I swear she has the flashy box with her all the time. To avoid us shutting our lazer eyes turning on she uses the red eye type of flash.

Mum tells me there are bugs in my garden so I have to go out and look for them. Other than that, she just waits until I am in a relaxed spot and then fires away. She says she takes 45 bad photos for every good one though!

ReplyDeleteMom's usual 'trick' is to photograph us when she thinks we aren't looking. Once we know she's got the camera, it's all over.

Mom doesn't get many good photos of us 'cause of her stupid camera. By the time it clicks, we've turned our head or closed our eyes!

Great photos, as always, Poppy! Our humans use feathers or tring, and make all kinds of silly noises to get our attention.
