Summer Suggestions


In the summer time, might I suggest that you sharpen your claws on any wood stuff you find outside.

At the moment, all of our wood tables and trees are soggy, so I have to sharpen my claws on the front door mat, and mums couch.

    Tell Mom to get one of those cardboard scratchy things. Our Mom has lots of them around the house and she sprinkles catnip on them. She says it saves her couch.

    There is a BSH boarding at mum's work at the moment named KohKoh. It's the first time mum has patted one, and she was amazed at how lovely and plush her coat felt. She lost all credibility though when she told the vet that her friend Poppy was a BSH :P

    Yes, we can imagine how much your mum loves that too, Poppy. There are all kinds of scratching posts, horizontal and vertical, that she might try for you instead!

    Have you thought of running upside down under beds - it's great fun & you don't get in as much trouble as scratching on the couch. But we are Burmese & Mandalay cats so running upside down is rather thrilling.

    Hi PoppyQ! Dat's a good piece of wood yur scratchin on. Keeps yur clawsies in good shape. We am enjoying our nice warm weather her in Connecticat. We am wishing yoo some nice weather your way.
