Holy moly it was a hot round about 30 deg C here for us today, a but too warm for us. Mum woke up early and got some groceries. It was too hot for her to do much else, and mum did not go back outside until the late afternoon to read on the back porch. We are grateful that our little house is cool inside. So mum will just sleep with a light cover on tonight and I'll sleep in the spare room which is even cooler.

I'm glad for you both that your house is cool. We are coming to a brief respite to the heatwave here according to the meteorologist. I hope he is right. Please stay well and cool and enjoy your sleeps.

ReplyDeleteThat is hot! We are getting unseasonably warm weather too. Every day has been 14-15C and it should be at least 10 lower.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo Poppy 🥰 That heat was a real killer. We had it for 2 days. Today seems milder at this point. Have to say I sleep off and on all day. I was watching an Australian film and they were complaining of heat. 45 degrees. I can’t even comprehend that. Hope Mum is feeling better. Please tell her I’m sorry she gets that nasty chest thing. Coping with that in heat must be very miserable. I am 79 now since New Years Eve. When I was a teenager I couldn’t imagine making 30. Wonder if I’ll make 80. I would find that quite an achievement and rather fun. How old are you Poppykins in human years ? 🥰
