Mum made the bed last night and put some new summery bedcovers on. At first she didn't like it, but today she enjoyed seeing the bright and light colors. It also got my seal of approval.
The day was beautiful with blue summer skies and it was hot. Mum even wore shorts and a tshirt to town - who cares if her old lady pale legs are out, so are everyone elses. Mum treated herself to a sushi lunch and got some chicken and salad to make wraps for dinner. Then home to chat to me and sit in the sun and read her book. She got it finished - is it weird that she gets excited that she can start her new book tonight, when she goes to bed?

ReplyDeleteMum wouldn't survive without her pile of books from the library. She picked up 10 more on Caturday and has already read one of them. Yeah, mum is trying Wordle, not very good at it. Stay safe with your new precautions.
