Hugs


 My lovely friends, time for me is now becoming limited.  I didn't rush to greet my mum tonight and am not wanting food.  The first day I have not shown interest.  It is the beginning of the goodbye sweet friends.  We love you all.

It's been a true joy and honour to share your life through your blog, and while I hope you still have some time left, I understand if you have to run off to the Bridge now.     Sweet Poppy, I am so sorry you need to leave your mum. She will miss you so very very much. Each day she returns from work and you are not running to meet her. I know she is glad you were there to visit with Miss Belle.

    Oh Poppy, this made me very teary-eyed. Time is never long enough for any of our beloved companion animals. I, too, remember way back with my first cat, Bill. He had cancer and I was just providing palliative care. When I came home from work and he didn't greet me at the door as he always did, I searched and found him curled up in my closet. I also knew his time with me was coming to a close and it broke my heart. Virtual hugs and comfort to you and your mum, sweet Poppy...
