Mums night shifts are over, and she was glad when 7am rolled around this morning. Rather than tumble into bed, as the day was sunny and a warm 17 degrees outside, she put the bedding into the wash and popped it on the line. Her eyes started closing after having her breakfast, so she admitted defeat and had to nao for a couple of hours.
As the afternoon felt like spring, even though winter is just starting mum went off to return some parcels and library books and pick up groceries.
After dinner, mum decided to put her new winter quilt and blanket on the bed. As soon as it was on, I jumped up and rolled around on it and went straight to sleep. Mum thinks I love it already! Just when she wants to go to bed!
