Happy Easter

Wishing you all a happy Easter.  It was a lovely day here, but mum had to go to work, so I was in charge of the bed for the day.  Luckily she got me this pillowcase to show me where to sleep. 

Daylight savings has switched here back to winter time so luckily it was a bit lighter when mum headed to work in the morning but it was feeling frosty.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter my lovies - hope you got some treats and got your relaxing done.  Mum was lucky and met up with some friends today, they went out for a bush walk, although there were a few too many stairs for mum.  Still lunch out was lovely and it was nice to spend time with friends laughing.

Me - well I had to hide under the deck as the builder was still going doing his stuff.  It does look like a lot of the work is done, which makes us happy, although the relaxing long weekend we were expecting has been disrupted.  Luckily the mess is outside too, and our indoor space is all left alone.

Mum is a bit tired of having to head out each day at 9am to try and entertain herself, especially as much of the city is closed.  Still she has a good pile of books to get through, so not so bad.

Happy Easter everybuddy - please forgive the recycled photo, but hey we still like it!!

Last night was a lunar eclipse, well really it was this morning at 1am so mum kept us awake to see it.  We wish we had a better camera, as ours doesn't do sky photos well at all.  Then our clocks 'sprung back' as daylights saving ended here in little New Zealand.

We had a blissful sleep in, then mum went for  a bit of a hilly walk and went to the cinema to see The Woman in Gold, with Ryan Reynolds and Helen Mirren.  She enjoyed it a lot, worthy of a 5/5.  She even had a couple of tears in her eyes and her lips were doing the old wobbly thing, but luckily no sobs and the mascara didn't run.  She thinks the trick with cinema crying is not to rub her eyes, if she rubs them they look all red and horrid, but if the tears just roll down the makeup can still look normal.

So then home to keep me company, a little book reading, a little tele and some home cooking and off to bed.  What a relaxing Easter weekend it has been for us girls.  Hope you are all enjoying your break too!!!

Do you get some time off work for Easter?  Our mum gets a 4 day break which is awesome.

Hi everybuddy, we hope that you are having a lovely weekend with your family and friends.  Our day has been lazy again.  We slept in and took it easy.  Thank goodness we got a bit of rain for the garden, and perfect weather to read a book and watch DVDs if you are mum, and snooze the day away if you are a cat.

Happy Easter Everybuddy - we hope you have all got to have time with your friends and family.  This photo is an oldie but a goodie, it still makes us laugh.   With a quiet and rainy day we have had sleep ins and videos, and lots of taking it easy.
