Tears

Mum was just about to leave home to go out for the first post lockdown lunch out, when she checked out her website to see that John from I Have Three Cats had done a post.  She only got a chance to have a quick glance, she could not bear to read more as she knew she may not be able to hold back the tears during lunch.  John wrote about his lovely cats who both took their journey to the bridge on Friday.
His sweet princess - Miss Cammie who although had struggled with tummy troubles for a long time and had  had a stroke a year ago, outlived the predictions mad for her.  What a sweet girl - we will miss her.
And Mr Raleigh, who John rescued from his work place after he was found living rough.  His place as a foster at the cosy apartment was soon cemented as a family regular and even though his time in his new home was short, we can tell from many of the photos posted that the boy was happy to be warm with a full tummy and well loved.

So sweet friends, we will miss you but know that you will be greeted at the bridge by your friends who have gone before you.   Rest in Peace Princess and Peachy.

Tears

Mum says there have been tears this week.  This was our online friend Wilf, and we very much enjoyed reading his blog from France, where he lived with his folks, and showed us around his village every day.  We loved the banter last year, during the Rugby world cup, but mostly we loved seeing his beautiful face.  After a long struggle Mr Wilfie was helped to the bridge this week, and we will miss him.
This is our sweet sweet friend, beautiful Miss Parker Pie, and she has whispered in her moms ear that she is ready for the bridge.  We know that her family will be sad, but understand that she need to go on her new journey.  Sending big hugs to OHIO and the whole Parker family.

Tears

This morning, mum was at work at 6am, and she was reading some blogs while waiting for her scanner to switch on.  She read about her sweet friend Miss Parker, who has been given a sad diagnosis.  We know though that her lovely rents and fur family will surround her love and that she knows we are all purring for our lovely girl.
Last night there were tears of joy around NZ, as the All Blacks beat the Wallabies in the Rugby World Cup semi final.  Next Sunday night we play France in the final, and have a chance of winning the cup.  You see it has been a long long 24 years since we won, and the past week all of us have been holding our breath, just hoping.  Especially this year - it's been tough.  NZ has done the recession tough, and with the Pike River mine disaster, the Canterbury earthquake and now this oil spill, we all need some good news.
