Today my mum put me in my ptu. She suprised me, so it happened quickly. She called the taxi and then took me outside to wait. So while she was looking up the road, I pushed on the PTU door, and miracle it gave and fell out and I escaped. Of course that was when the taxi came.
Mum had to ask the man to wait, then runned inside to find me in the garden. No way mum I'm not coming near you again today. What's that - the fancy feast and the plate. YUMMY, maybe I will come a little bit closer. Damn, she got me again!! But I drew blood!!
Off to the V-E-T, vaccinations and a big brushing all done and mums wallet is a little lighter. Oh and I am spending the evening in the garden, not talking to her. Except at bed time, cause it is a little chilly and she might sneak the electric blanket on, and I might need to snuggle between her knees a little bit. So she is a little bit forgiven.
Awwww, at least it's over with now!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like one adventurous visit! We are not allowed to ride to the vet in the same PTU now, because when we were waiting for the taxi, we had a fight on the driveway and nearly rolled the carrier over.
ReplyDeleteWe are glad your visit is done, hopefully you wont be back for another year!:)
I don't like getting tricked into the PTU either. But I do like sleeping next to Mom on her nice warm blanket at night.
ReplyDeleteWell, warm blankets and snuggling almost make it worth it. And, of course you're all set to stay healthy for another year, and that is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteGreat escape, Poppy! But that fancy feast will get you every time!
ReplyDeletePoor Poppy, humans are just full of treachery sometimes!
ReplyDeleteHope you get a good snuggle in bed later to make up for it.

We are not fans of being stuffed in carriers and hauled off to dr. appts...but that's part of medical and dental plan provided by my mom and dad and we put up with it just because we have to.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of the PTU either. Had to ride in it on a 12 hour trip one time and now it takes a small army to get me back in that thing!
ReplyDeleteKiddo
What a terrible surprise! But at least it's all behind you now.
ReplyDeleteOh, you sneaky kitty. You almost had freedom from the vet. But now it's over till the next time.
ReplyDeleteOh Poppy, you are so good at escaping the PTU!! Good job.
ReplyDeletePoppy,
ReplyDeleteOh... dat waz a closie one. I beys your momee waz a itty bitty scaird when you ranz outta da PTU. But food iz alwayz a good bargainin' chip. Didz someone say chips???
Definitely wait until it's dark and chilly before allowing your Mum to think you've forgiven her ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh WOW Poppy Q, you are very clever to escape from the PTU!
ReplyDeleteI am glad everything went well at the VET's.
My Mum has had the electric blanket on for a month now, I LOVE it, but then we have a foot of snow here and it is definately winter, brrr....
I understand I don't like the vet either I always hide.Yet mom finds me.
ReplyDeleteDone in by the Feast! I know it well.
ReplyDeletePoor Poppy! I hate when I get tricked like that.
ReplyDeleteohh noes! My Momma would have wet herself ifs I escaped! You must let me in on your secrets!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am glad all is well and it was not that bad anyways :)
