Mum says she loves Al Gore and his cute little
dvd "An
Inconvenient Truth". Her dad is his biggest critic, but had never watched this
dvd. Last time
Gdad came to stay, mum made him sit and watch it. He did fall asleep at the end of the movie, but mum was sure to wake him.
Anyways, much as mum believes we are hurting our planet she has another theory to rival Al Gore.
She believes the reason that the weather has gone crazy, is that Easter eggs are already been sold - on the 9
th of January she was witness to them being on the shop shelves already. She thinks the weather gods are all confused, cause Easter eggs and buns are meant to come out in autumn (spring for those of you in the northern hemisphere).
Thats why we have a cool
sourtherly and rain today, and summer has blown away. Hopefully it will be back tomorrow.
Smooches to you all.
hahah Momma only just noticed that today too while shopping!
ReplyDeleteWe agree with your theory! ;)

Our mom feels the same way.
ReplyDeleteBtw, your bio says you are "big," how big is big?

Abby & Stygia
Global warming seems to have gone away from here for the time being. The temperature for the last few weeks has been up to 10 degrees colder than normal and we have been lying in front of the fire instead of going for walks.
ReplyDeleteThat is a neat theory! Our mom agrees with your mom. We're off to chase the buns now...
ReplyDeleteSiena & Chilli
That's a very good theory. Mum had a very hard time at the supermarket the other day- she loooooves Cream Eggs, and they were hanging all over the place. Talk about Temptations!
ReplyDeleteWe think your mom has a purrty good theory there...
ReplyDeleteThat's a good theory she has.
ReplyDeleteWe adore Al Gore! Easter eggs already!! Oh my, that is confusing. No wonder the gods are confused.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, Easter stuff already? We gotta get through Valentines and St Pat's day before Easter.
ReplyDeleteWe had hot cross buns in the stores from the first week in January too... ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteGreat movie that is! In the same topic I saw a great Canadian/English mini series a while back called "Burn Up" which was so very scary and with lots of good actors, interesting plot and heartbreakingly scary

You might want to watch the wonderful movie "The girl in the cafe" too, with brilliant as always Bill Nighy

With a slighly more positive ending than the BU one...
