Just to let you know I will be keeping my eye on you all (mum took this silly picture by sticking her camera over the end of a roll of christmas wrapping paper).
We are officially about to hand over the old laptop to my niece Belle, to help with her schoolwork and sociallising, very important when you are 12.
Mum has bought a new laptop, but it may take her a while to figure out how to connect to the internets on it. Hopefully we will be back on line soon!
So everybuddy, don't worry we aren't disappearing, just trying to get back online. See you soon!

Haha that is a funny photo of you.Hope you get your laptop set up soon. Mum was lucky when she got her laptop. AOL had recently sent her a router because the modem wasn't working properly and she told AOL she'd had enough of them. She set the router up for a wireless connection,turned her laptop on and everything worked right away.
ReplyDeleteI spy a golden eye! Mom needs a new laptop, hers is ancient in laptop years. And she needs to do some clean up on her work computer; it took forever for her to open a pdf the other day when she was helping a customer on the phone. That's not good... But she has to be in the mood for that because it takes forever to load all the software and backups back onto it-all weekend usually. But she says Not This Weekend!
ReplyDelete"Sigh" It's the same all over the world with computers and laptops. We all need new ones, and once we have new ones they need to be configured and existing software needs to be re-installed. Definitely a weekend job only. Or so my beans say....
